Here at ThePointeShop, we love art. We appreciate fashion. We just don't understand it. Enter: ballet core. What in the world. Do you know what ballet core is? Josephine didn't. So of course, the ballet internet had to educate her. We love anything that brings attention to ballet - especially if it can bring audiences to the theater, and subsequently pay our dancers! So you do you boo - just don't do you with pointe shoes if you haven't trained and been approved by a ballet teacher/physical therapist.

This is a dancer's worst nightmare. And confirmation of an age old superstition that dancing en pointe will break feet. Pointe shoes are meant to be a tool to help you dance en pointe. However, the wrong fit can prove harmful. Injuries and outdated fitting methods are the reason why we exist. To keep dancers safe and dancing for longer.
