So low key but not low key...we ballet know ballet can be a bit snobbish and elitist. But that is completely NOT our mission statement here at ThePointeShop. Our goal is to make ballet as accessible as possible, because it can do good for all - regardless of who you are. So much to be learned & gained from its structure, discipline, & commitment to excellence. These are all qualities that should not be withheld or gate kept to a particular group of people. Pssst.....Josephine's birthday is coming up... AND Gliss' one year anniversary is also approaching! In honor of these special dates for our company, we decided to dedicate a video to what I've seen on social media coined as 'compliment hour.' AKA, having Josephine read Gliss reviews. So how can The Pointe Shop sustain itself as a company all about shoes? Well, like the title says, these shoes are integral to the art & a dancer's career! Did you know that Josephine used to own a full dance retail store - with tap shoes, jazz shoes and all sorts of dance apparel? The Pointe Shop is the only dance retail store of its kind: our primary focus is pointe shoes and fitting them!
