Get to the Pointe — pointe shoe fitting

We know what y'all want for Christmas...reaction videos of course! And pointe shoes too duh. This week, Josephine virtually met Lindsey Stirling. This amazing Youtuber-Violinist-Dancer has been on the platform for a while now, with amazing covers to popular songs. This week: Santa Baby. In this cheeky classical-pop rendition of the holiday favorite, Lindsey dons some pointe shoes. And so, Josephine had to take a look. Are you a Lindsey Stirling fan? This one's a long requested reaction! On this episode of 'Pointe Shoe Fitter Reacts,' Josephine watched a piece called Ballet Magnifique.  Lauren Gonzales' choreography for Regional Dance America/Southwest, brings waves of humor and amusement to Jacques Offenbach score. The performance was by dancers of the Collin County Ballet Theater, Honor Company in 2018.  "This is better than Mistake Waltz!" Josephine exclaimed.  Which do you prefer? Ballet Magnifique or Mistake Waltz?

After a hurricane and 12 hour train ride, we made it to made it to New York successfully! And to celebrate, Josephine watched the latest Rybka Twins video! They took us to their fitting as they got new shoes, and attempted the famous 32 fouetté challenge from the Black Swan variation of Swan Lake. Did Josephine like the new shoes? How did the twins do? This week, Josephine got to have some fun with OG YouTube Queen: Liza Koshy. For those who don't know, Liza is one of the few many consider 'made the jump' from being a 'Youtuber' to the mainstream. In other words, Liza has been able to go from viral internet star, to mainstream media darling. She was recently on the red carpet of the Met Gala, interviewing our favorite stars and celebrities from TV & movies. Even Josephine knows who she is!
