This video is such a pleasure to watch because Josephine and Gg bring out the ultimate pointe shoe nerds out of each other.
Gg came to Josephine's first store (back then it was Dancer's Choice) for a fitting, and the rest is history. As she says in the video, "I walked in for shoes & left with a job!"
Gg never went en pointe as a kid - but as an adult. This, with her Feldenkrai practice makes her one of the most knowledgeable pointe shoe fitters for ThePointeShop. Gg has been a pointe shoe fitter for seven years and running, taking care of dancers in the San Diego area.
