Josephine discusses the case of a professional dancer who came to her unable to get over her pointe shoes. Many ballet schools are often connected to professional companies, and often prefer specific brands. Because of this, the dancer had only been in one brand her whole dance career.
This is actually a really common issue, but over time, many companies/schools have started to open up to other brands. The reality is that dancers can often fit in many different shoes across the brands - it just depends on their needs & how they feel.
