We love boys who do ballet. But do we love boys who do pointe? In this episode of 'Pointe Shoe Fitter Reacts,' we scoured the ballet internet for our favorite ballet boys. And good news - lots of men are dancing en pointe now! Pointe is for everyone! And though it's been gendered as a skill women mostly accomplish, we love seeing men en pointe. Albeit, possibly a touch annoyed because they are SO good. Historically, high heels were worn by men of the French court and aristocracy. ThePointeShop's relationship with the ballet internet has been interesting, to say the least. Reaction videos and cups aside, the internet is a vast pit of knowledge that continues to get smarter and smarter. But when it comes to pointe shoes, who knows more? Artificial intelligence, or master pointe shoe fitter, Josephine Lee? In this video, it's ChatGPT - aka machine learning - versus Josephine.  In other words, could artificial intelligence fit pointe shoes effectively and safely? What do you think of this new technology? Is it applicable to the ballet world?

This series might be older than the majority of the viewing audience lol. Pointe shoes, ballet memes, ballet babies, ballet shoes, ballet core - allllll the funny ballet things from the internet for you! With Josephine's impeccable reactions, of course. 

 The saga into the universe that is Ballet Barbie continues... So far, Josephine has watched:- Barbie in the Nutcracker- Barbie of Swan Lake- Barbie & the Twelve Dancing Princesses And finally, Josephine reacts to the long awaited: Barbie and the Pink Shoes.  As per usual, we will be on the look out for disproportionate feet, colored pointe shoes, tutus/costumes, and of course - dancing! Pointe shoe hacks - the antidote to cups. Ballerinas are as dainty and ethereal as they come....until it's time to customize their shoes! We'll never get tired of it. Watching ballerinas in their extracurricular craft of making adjustments to their pointe shoes.  Humans weren't built to dance on their toes. And as much as pointe shoes have evolved over time, dancers continue to tinker and make adjustments to their precious tools so they can accomplish their otherworldly feat.  Do you have a favorite pointe shoe hack?
