Hello, I‘m an adult hobby dancer. Actually I gave up ballet at a young age just after starting pointe, because it was painful and frustrating and although I worked so hard and loved it, I couldn‘t do the exercises. Today I know that my pointe shoes were the problem. I have very narrow feet, and I couldn‘t balance because my shoes felt unstable, no matter how hard they were or how much I tied up the ribbons.
Now I got fitted with Russian Pointes, and I love them. I wasted some years with Blochs, because everyone (teachers, shop fitters) said that they were great beginner shoes. 🙄
What shoes would you recommend for beginners with narrow feet? I get the impression that more or less all Blochs are rather wide. Sadly, most shops in Germany don‘t have many brands to choose from 😕
Thank you, love your page!! 😘

    Hi,
I do not think I have a curved pointe. I think my pointe is more straight. do you think I will need something more supportive in my pointe shoes? and will that be more money?

    Thank you
    Kimberleigh Smith

P.S. Dance is the most important thing to me and I have really wonted to go on pointe since I was three.

Hi. Can you tell me what maker of pointe shoe you used in your video for dancers with narrow feet?
Thank you for all of your informative videos! 🌸
