ThePointeShop's relationship with the ballet internet has been interesting, to say the least. Reaction videos and cups aside, the internet is a vast pit of knowledge that continues to get smarter and smarter. But when it comes to pointe shoes, who knows more? Artificial intelligence, or master pointe shoe fitter, Josephine Lee? In this video, it's ChatGPT - aka machine learning - versus Josephine.  In other words, could artificial intelligence fit pointe shoes effectively and safely? What do you think of this new technology? Is it applicable to the ballet world?

It seems like...we've been here...before. That's because we have! It's Pointe Shoe Fitter Reacts to Ballet Tik Toks - PART 24. Twenty. Four. This series might be older than the majority of the viewing audience lol. Pointe shoes, ballet memes, ballet babies, ballet shoes, ballet core - allllll the funny ballet things from the internet for you! With Josephine's impeccable reactions, of course. 

Ballet is beautiful, elegant, powerful, and of course - has great fashion. So one would assume a natural crossover in the ven diagram that is ballet and fashion. HOWEVER, dancers and models serve different purposes. They have different abilities, backgrounds, experiences, training, and goals in their respective industry. So while dancers may fit much of the criteria to be a model, this doesn't necessarily make sense the other way around. Models are certain to slay a photoshoot or cat walk in ballet-inspired pointe shoes, no doubt. But there is a line. And that line is, you guessed it, pointe shoes....

Swank Lake: probably the most famous ballet about birds! But what if it wasn't birds? What if it was frogs? Or...hands? These videos are a little bit older and were circulating on Reels and TikTok, so we pulled the entire pieces to look at.
