So, when Timothee Chalamet's comments about the ballet and opera went viral not only within the ballet community, but pop culture at large, we chose to take a beat before responding.
This video is a usual reaction video, but it's also Josephine's take on the situation. A longer and explained perspective that might be a hot take - that Timothee's comments don't need to be taken in an offensive way.
We're generally fans of most things that shine a spotlight on our very small, niche ballet industry. So it's been interesting to see a lot of people's opinions online. What's incredible to note is the amount of noise the ballet community was able to make - and that we are a strong voice!
