So how can The Pointe Shop sustain itself as a company all about shoes?
Well, like the title says, these shoes are integral to the art & a dancer's career!
Did you know that Josephine used to own a full dance retail store - with tap shoes, jazz shoes and all sorts of dance apparel?
The Pointe Shop is the only dance retail store of its kind: our primary focus is pointe shoes and fitting them!
Over the years we have added ballet flats, tights, and some leotards due to dancer and parent demand. Merch also, just some small things that people can pick up with their pointe shoes.
But as you know, our focus is and will always be, ballet.
