Cost: $40 entry fee for one dancer and one guest (parent or teacher)

This fee includes:
* One mesh backpack for safe pointe shoe storage, stitch kit and toe tape ($42 value)
* "What to Expect from Your First Pair of Pointe Shoes," a 20-minute seminar with Josephine Lee
* A link to book a personalized fitting appointment with one of ThePointeShop fitters.
* Handouts with pointe shoe information and instructions on sewing and caring
Pointe shoes can be purchased at an additional cost during your fitting appointment, along with any other merchandise in the store. The total cost for a first pair of pointe shoes with accessories typically ranges from $145-$200, depending on the dancer's individual needs. Please note, if you choose not to purchase pointe shoes at the fitting, a $40 fitting fee will be applied.
Before attending the fitting, dancers must have approval from their ballet/pointe teacher to purchase their first pair of pointe shoes. To ensure the best fit, please do not purchase pointe shoes in advance of this approval, as a dancer's needs may change. Additionally, please do not purchase pointe shoes if you will not be starting classes within three weeks of the fitting, as a dancer's needs can also change within that timeframe.
