In the world of dance there is often two universes people think about: concert dance and commercial dance. Traditionally, ballet is only seen in concert dance, on stage and occasionally in curated films. With that said, ballet has more recently snuck into the other side of the dance universe, with music videos and other commercial projects.
One of the music industry's most recent breakout artists, Olivia Rodrigo, is one among many artists who have chosen to use classical ballet in their music videos!
Although there is some really lovely ballet moments, there are, of course, also some ballet moments that are "brutal" to say the least...
